TRANSPERSONAL ARTs Counselling
Hi, and welcome to the Therapy side of my work and website! I am a Transpersonal Arts Counsellor, BACP registered, accredited by City & Guilds, and a graduate from Tobias School of Art & Therapy. I have been working therapeutically with creativity since 2013.
I am often asked what Transpersonal Arts Counselling is?
In essence it is a form of therapy that uses artistic techniques to encourage an awareness of how one can transform self. Using art as the language to express one's thoughts, emotions and feelings, it is a way to explore one's inner world, merging psychology, creativity and spirituality in a therapeutic context - In its entirety, transpersonal arts counselling is a holistic approach that focuses on the health of the body, mind, emotions, soul and spirit, helping people to discover a more essential self that exists beyond the conditioned ego.

2. Inhaling draw the breath up from the earth through the feet into the whole body, focusing on an element you want to draw in
3. Exhaling your breath work from the top (head) down out through your feet into earth, focusing on any elements you want to release
4. Repeat 3-5 times
5. The next inhale is full, on the exhale open the mouth and take a big sigh making any sound that feels good and comfortable,
6. Repeat this up to 3 times then let the breath find its natural state.
What Inspires Me
Nature is central to both my personal and professional life. I feel most alive in wild places—by water or in the mountains—and bring that sense of spaciousness and grounded presence into my work.
Movement and art have long been my own medicine, and it’s a deep joy to share these pathways with others. I’m also committed to a slower, simpler pace of life—one that allows room for reflection, connection, and authentic expression.
Why This Work Matters
I believe every human is inherently creative, and that we all carry the potential to heal when we’re supported with safety, compassion, and care. This modality offers a space where you can reconnect with your inner world, explore what’s ready to shift, and begin to reclaim your sense of wholeness.
Whether you're navigating change, seeking deeper self-understanding, or simply feeling the call to reconnect with your creative self—I’m here to walk alongside you.
My Approach
I offer a gentle, creative, and embodied form of therapy through the modality of Arts Counselling. Rooted in a transpersonal and holistic perspective, my work honours the whole self—mind, body, spirit, and soul.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve supported individuals on their healing journeys using a blend of the arts, somatic practices, and nature-based wisdom. Each session is shaped by deep listening, presence, and trust in your unique process.
How I Work
My sessions weave together creative expression, trauma-informed yoga, and somatic movement practices to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and a return to inner balance.
I draw on the body’s innate intelligence—using breath, movement, and stillness—to gently guide awareness inward. These tools help create a safe and grounded space where emotions, memories, and insights can surface and be explored at your pace.
Whether through painting, movement, clay, voice, or writing, I hold space for you to express what may be difficult to put into words—honouring your creativity as a powerful vehicle for healing and self-discovery.
